Choosing Accommodations for a Large Family Trip

How to choose lodging for reunions and multigenerational trips at Table Rock Lake: whole homes vs several cabins, bedroom counts, and booking tips for groups.

One big house or several cabins?

A single large home keeps everyone under one roof for meals and game nights. Several cabins give each household its own kitchen, bathroom and bedtime. Many reunions do both: a house as the gathering place, with cabins nearby for families who want their own space.

Our larger options

Hotel California has five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a long dining table and a game room. Kim's House has four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a screened porch, a fire pit and a lower-level family room with a ping-pong table. The three-bedroom Cedar Cabins each have two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a covered deck.

Count beds, not just guests

Before you book, list who is coming and who needs their own room: couples, grandparents, teenagers, little ones who nap. Then match the list to bed configurations on each accommodation page, and call us if anything is unclear.

Booking for groups

If you need more than three cabins, or your group is larger than 25 people, call us at (800) 322-8274 so we can check availability across units together.
