The Waterfall Pool

Waterfall pool

A multi-level pool with a rock waterfall, a lower spillover pool and stone terraces with lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The pool is built into the hillside, with natural stone walls, landscaped beds and two terraces for lounging and shade.

Water spills from a rock waterfall into the main pool, then over into a lower pool, so there's a soundtrack of falling water whether you're swimming or reading in the shade.

Pool safety for families

There is no lifeguard on duty, so a few habits go a long way:

Keep children under 12 with an adult at all times. It's a pool rule, not a suggestion.
Assign one adult as the "water watcher" and swap every so often, without phones.
Put weaker swimmers in a properly fitting life jacket.
Walk, don't run, on the stone terraces and steps.
Take breaks in the shade and drink water on hot afternoons.

Pool questions

What are the pool hours and rules?

The pool is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day. There is no lifeguard on duty, and children under 12 must never be at the pool without an adult. The pool is for registered guests only, and dogs aren't allowed in the pool area.

Who can use the pool and the dock?

The pool and the dock are private and reserved for registered Bavarian Village Resort guests only.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes, in two units: A-frame #1 and 3-bedroom Cedar Cabin #1. The fee is $20 per dog per day, with a maximum of two dogs.

Dogs must be over a year old with up-to-date shot records. We can't accept pit bulls, Rottweilers or other aggressive breeds. Please keep dogs leashed, clean up after them, and crate or kennel them whenever they're left in the unit. Dogs aren't allowed in the pool area, the pool or the lake. Owners are responsible for any damage, and unresolved noise complaints may mean finding other accommodations.

Prefer open water? Guests can also swim from the swim dock on Table Rock Lake.
