About the lake
Table Rock Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the White River in southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. At its normal (conservation pool) level it covers about 43,100 acres with roughly 745 miles of shoreline, which leaves a lot of coves to explore by boat.
Boating rules for visitors
Missouri requires a boater safety card for many operators of motorized boats. On lakes, the rule currently applies to people born after January 1, 1984, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol has announced it expands to all state waters on January 1, 2027. Out-of-state visitors can use a NASBLA-approved card from their home state or take a Missouri-approved course.
Children under 7 must wear a life jacket on a boat in Missouri, except inside a fully enclosed cabin.
- Get your boater card online before the trip so you're not waiting at the dock.
- Bring a driver's license if you plan to rent a boat.
Swimming and the dock
Bavarian Village guests can swim from the swimming deck on the resort's boat dock, or use the waterfall pool when they'd rather have a lounge chair and shade. There's no lifeguard at either, so keep children within reach and in life jackets near the water.
Bringing your own boat
If you trailer a boat in, you can launch at the resort's ramp and rent a covered stall at the lighted dock for your stay. Call ahead to reserve a stall. If you'd rather not tow, the resort's tritoon can be reserved by the half or full day.
