Why the pool matters so much
Summer days at Silver Dollar City are hot and hilly. A pool a few minutes from the gate turns the midday break into something the kids look forward to all morning. Some families plan the whole day around that swim.
Ask these before you book
What are the pool hours, and can you swim after dinner? Is it for guests only? Is there shade and somewhere comfy for the adults? Is there a lifeguard? (A lot of resort pools don't have one.) And will it be open on your dates?
Our waterfall pool
Our pool is built right into the hillside. Water tumbles down a rock waterfall into the main pool and spills into a lower pool below, with stone terraces, lounge chairs and umbrellas all around.
It's open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so a night swim after the park is easy. It's for registered guests only. There's no lifeguard, and kids under 12 need an adult with them. If you're coming early or late in the year, give us a call to check when it's open.
Would the kids rather swim in the lake? There's a swim dock on Table Rock Lake too.
An indoor pool, year-round
Our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, has an indoor pool that's open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It's a great backup on a rainy day or a chilly one, and Tribesman stays open all year.
