Book early. Really.
Fall is one of the busiest stretches around Silver Dollar City. The park holds a fall festival every year, and the cooler weather and changing leaves bring people from all over. Places close to the park fill up first, especially on weekends, so once you've picked your dates, go ahead and book.
The festival's name, dates and events can change from year to year, so check the park's official calendar rather than an old article.
Stay close to the park
Roads around the park get crowded during festival weeks. Staying on Indian Point Road means a short drive in and an easy escape whenever you need a break. We're about five minutes from Silver Dollar City, and our fall and holiday rates run September 14 through December 31. You'll find them on our rates page.
Fall evenings at the resort
Cool fall nights are made for the fire pit, so bring some firewood. If you'd like a fireplace inside, our Cedar Cabins, Kim's House and Hotel California each have one. Kim's House also has its own fire pit out back and a screened porch.
Need a break from the festival crowds? Spend a day on the water instead. Our tritoon can be booked online for a half or full day.
If we're booked up, try our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, also on Indian Point. It has three-bedroom cabins, condos and fire pits around the property.
