Questions for the boat owners
"Resort with a dock" covers a lot of ground. If you're towing a boat in, ask whether there's a ramp on site, whether you can rent a slip for your whole stay, whether it's covered and lit at night, whether you can swim off the dock, and whether it's for guests only.
Our dock
Bavarian Village has a covered, lighted boat dock on Table Rock Lake. Launch at our ramp and rent a covered stall for your stay. Just call ahead to reserve one. The dock has a swim dock too, and it's a pretty good place to fish. It's for registered guests only.
No boat? No problem. Our 22-foot, 150-horsepower tritoon rents for a half or full day. It comes fueled, with the required safety gear and life jackets for adults and kids.
Two more docks at Tribesman
Our sister resort on Indian Point, Tribesman Resort, has two docks for guests with boat slips for rent, and one of them has an oversized swim dock. You can also rent a pontoon or a golf cart there.
Before you head out
Missouri requires a boater safety card for a lot of people driving motorized boats. On lakes, that currently means anyone born after January 1, 1984. Kids under 7 have to wear a life jacket on a boat unless they're inside a fully enclosed cabin. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's site has the current rules, and our Table Rock Lake guide sums them up.
