Branson has three lakes
When people say "lakefront" around here, they usually mean Table Rock Lake, the big reservoir west of town. Lake Taneycomo runs through downtown past Branson Landing, and Bull Shoals Lake is off to the east. Table Rock is the one most people have in mind for swimming and boating.
"Lakefront" is a stretchy word
Some places sit right on the shore with their own dock. Others have a peek of water through the trees, or a short drive to a public boat ramp. Before you book, find out if you can get to the water from the property, whether there's a dock you can swim from, whether you can keep a boat there, and whether the public shares it.
Lake access at Bavarian Village
We're on Indian Point, on a hillside above Table Rock Lake. The resort has its own covered, lighted boat dock with a swim dock for getting into the lake. There's a boat ramp, and you can rent a covered stall for your stay. Our tritoon can be reserved by the half or full day.
The dock is for registered guests only. There's no lifeguard, so keep kids close and in life jackets near the water. It's also a nice spot to drop a line. Our fishing guide covers what's biting.
Steps from the water at Tribesman
Our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, is just steps from the lake. It has two docks with boat slips for rent, an oversized swim dock for guests and pontoon rentals. Tribesman is open year-round, too.
