Stay near what you'll do most

With kids, the drive is part of the day, and long drives wear everybody out. So stay near the thing you'll do most.

  • Theme park and lake days: the west side, around Table Rock Lake and Indian Point. Silver Dollar City is on Indian Point Road.
  • Shows, mini golf and restaurants: the Strip (Highway 76).
  • Shopping and an evening stroll: downtown and Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo.

Why we like the lake side for families

Silver Dollar City is a big day. From Indian Point it's close enough to come back at midday for lunch, a nap or a swim, then head back for the evening. It's quieter at night too, which helps when bedtime is 8:00.

From Bavarian Village, the park is about five minutes away. We have a waterfall pool, a swim dock on the lake, a fire pit, and shady lawns with picnic tables. The pool and dock are for guests only.

Room for everyone

Our A-frames give the kids a loft of their own. The Deck Houses have two bedrooms and two baths. The Cedar Cabins have three bedrooms and a full kitchen. Bringing the whole extended family? Kim's House sleeps up to 13.

Our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, is also on Indian Point and adds an indoor pool, a free game room and a playground, which comes in handy on a rainy afternoon.
