What a reunion needs
The best reunions give people a place to be together and a place to slip away for a bit. Look for one spot where everybody can gather, like a big kitchen, a long table or a fire pit. Then make sure each household has its own bedroom and bathroom. Things to do for every age help a lot too.
How families set it up here
A favorite setup at Bavarian Village is one big house as home base, with cabins nearby. Kim's House sleeps up to 13 and has a big kitchen, a stone fireplace, a walk-out family room with ping-pong and a fire pit out back. Hotel California sleeps up to 10, with a dining table long enough for everyone and a screened porch.
Then add Cedar Cabins, which sleep up to 10 each, or A-frames for couples and young families. Grandparents who want a quieter spot might like a Deck House, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Room for a really big crowd
Our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, is also on Indian Point and has the same owners. It has an indoor meeting room for 30 to 40 people that you can rent, plus three-bedroom cabins that sleep up to 11, an indoor pool, a free game room and a playground. Some groups book at both resorts.
Booking
For more than three cabins, or more than 25 people, call us at (800) 322-8274 and we'll sort out availability together. Book early for summer and fall weekends. Then rent the tritoon for an afternoon on the lake, or head to Silver Dollar City, about five minutes away.
