The big ones
For most families, Silver Dollar City is the main event: rides, craftspeople, shows and festivals that change with the seasons. Lots of families split it over two days. In town, the Strip has family shows, mini golf and arcades, and Branson Landing has shops and a walk along the water.
Hours, shows and prices change through the year, so check the official sites before you go. Our Explore Branson page is a good starting point.
Out on Table Rock Lake
For a lot of kids, the lake is what they remember most. Swimming, fishing and tubing behind a boat are hard to top. Table Rock is known for bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish, and bluegill are a great bet for kids because they bite so often. Most anglers 16 and older need a Missouri fishing permit. Our fishing guide has the details.
Free fun at the resort
At Bavarian Village there's the waterfall pool, the swim dock, fishing off the dock, s'mores at the fire pit (bring firewood) and deer and turkeys to spot on the lawns. Life jackets are a good idea for little ones near the water.
At our sister resort, Tribesman Resort, kids can add an indoor pool, a free game room with air hockey and a basketball shoot-out, and a wooden playground.
A rhythm that works
Try alternating big days and easy days: Silver Dollar City one day, then the lake and pool, then a show in town. Everyone stays happier that way, grown-ups included. Want a day on the water? Our tritoon rents by the half or full day.
